The NAP methodology for professional negotiation management provides concrete guidance for a structured preparation, execution and controlling of your negotiations. The methods are based on established and innovative findings from negotiation research and other relevant scientific fields (including psychology, game theory and business studies) and contain procedures that have been tested in practice.
In our interactive business games of the Negotiation Management II trainings you can deepen your knowledge from the basic training Negotiation Management I and gain experience in the intensive use of the NAP methodology.
A complex use case allows participants to immerse themselves in the roles of different parties over several negotiation rounds. In a protected space, under the guidance of our experienced trainers, you will learn to withstand the pressure of complex negotiation situations and to proceed in a planned and strategic manner despite the tension. In the process, you will train to prepare efficiently and effectively for negotiations with the help of NAP methodology and receive an individual assessment of your own negotiation performance.
In the Deep Dives, you have the opportunity to further deepen the methods of the basic training Negotiation Management I and II with our specialized NAP trainers and to gain intensive application experience.
Based on concrete use cases, you will gain confidence in the handling and practical implementation of the NAP methodology. You will also be able to develop your individual routine for applying the methods and derive implications for further negotiation procedures. In addition, you will receive targeted feedback from the trainers during all phases of the training.
To expand your negotiation knowledge and master the requirements of individual negotiation tasks, the NAP specialty trainings offer you the opportunity to acquire specialized knowledge.
Our trainers provide you with detailed knowledge for specific areas or concrete negotiation situations in specifically oriented training courses. These include, for example, special features of collective bargaining, claim negotiations, digital negotiations, (non-verbal) communication and intercultural negotiations.
In our Intensive Course, consisting of the modules Negotiation Management I and II, you can acquire the university certificate “Professional Negotiator”. The prerequisite for this is that you have already attended both seminars and passed an oral examination. We will arrange the examination date with you individually. The certificate modules are creditable for the MBA Negotiation Management of the University of Potsdam in cooperation with the NAP.
